many years ago i was handed a stack of (what i remember to be) TIME magazines to throw into the trash. somehow the top of the pile slid to the ground as i carried them (surely thinking of all the things i could possibly make out of them rather than trash them) and right there in front of me on the ground was a page open to this strange and amazing painting of a girl creature with butterfly wings and a dragon tail. the artist’s name was Henry Darger, and since that moment, i’ve been a fan.
i will always think people born on may 17th are cool.
i think craig ferguson is an awesome human, but sometimes i wonder if i’d just think he was a prick if i actually knew him. i’ll surely never know.
